Balance that campari bitterness with the smooth notes of juniper. This classic negroni will transport you to London and have you sitting in a quiet, dim lit bar.
The Negroni was invented in Italy in the early 1900’s and is still as popular today (just check out #negroni on Instagram). Smooth, strong and sexy, it’s easy to make at home as it only takes 3 ingredients. Just remember your gin choice matters!
Ingredients
30ml Gin (good quality)
30ml Campari
30ml Sweet Vermouth
Method
Build over ice in an old fashioned, finish by topping off with a Garniche79 orange wheel.
One of our favourite negroni gins is (not surprisingly) the Four Pillars Spiced Negroni Gin. Four Pillars really know what they are doing with their gin.
Alternative
For those who may not love Negronis we have a great variation! Pour in your Campari and Sweet Vermouth over ice and top up with your favourite Prosecco. This will balance out the bitterness with the sweetness of prosecco.
