Melburnians love our coffee and our cocktails. Combine the two and you end up in a glorious place (if done right). And while we mourn the loss of Cafe Patron, get your hands on one of the many delicious coffee liquers and follow this simple, foolproof recipe for a creamy, punchy martini.
The classic Espresso Martini is such an easy cocktail to make. Here's what you're going to need:
Ingredients
30ml of your favourite Coffee Liqueur
30ml fresh shot of coffee (or cold brew)
30ml good quality Vodka
Optional 15ml Maple Syrup for the sweet tooth
Garniche79 Magic Beans and Chocolate powder to garnish
Method
Combine Coffee liqueur, Coffee, Vodka and maple syrup in shaker. Shake hard and fast for 30 seconds for ultimate creaminess. Fine strain into a martini glass and dust with chocolate powder. Lay 3 Garniche79 Magic Beans on top and you have your classic Espresso Martini.
To get creative you can always add some caramel essence or cinnamon to spice things up.
